I’m Back For The First Time!

I haven’t been blogging for a long time because I’ve been busy with school. Why is the first week of school so hectic? The school is so different now. There are some good and bad things about ASLA. They painted the walls, put plants up and got a $1 million grant for after school programs. However the school has become more crowded. The school added roughly 60 more students to the school. So now the lunches are split apart. They came up with that idea because lunch was too short and not all the students were getting serve. That doesn’t work for 2 reasons: (1) Friends are split up and (2) the lunch line is still too long. Of course the school’s principal and vice principal said “just give it time, I’m sure it’ll work out”. I hope they’re right.

3 Days ‘Til School

So school starts in three days and believe me when I say that I’m not looking forward to it. It’s not because I’m not prepared. It’s because I sort of don’t like the school I attend. The teachers are nice and everything, but as a whole Animo just isn’t the school for me. There’s no journalism class, I don’t like the classes that were given to me, and the new grading policy is not fair.
I’m not writing this blog to libel Animo and I’m not gonna use obscene language. I just felt the need to express my opinion.
I’m tired of attending schools that put sports before education. The new grading policy was created in favor for those who play sports.
Students who are involved in a sport sometimes tend to slack off because they are too focused on the sport they play. So their grades begin to fall. The old grading policy states that if an assignment isn’t turned in a zero is placed in the grade book. But the new grading policy states that if an assignment is not turned in the teacher must put 50% in the grade book.
Isn’t that unfair?

I haven’t been blogging for a while because I’ve been really busy I’ve been uniform shopping. Which is very frustrating I must say. After I went uniform shopping, I went shoe shopping. Or shall I say a “boot search”. Lol. I went to Target with my mom and bought a pair of boots. A couple of days later I took them back and bought another pair of boots for $50. I called my mom and asked her if I had made the right decision and of course she said no. So when she got off of work we took them back. I have $50 in my wallet. I think I’m gonna spend it on two pairs of Vans.
